go to this website and grab the setup according to your sql server platform now
It would be around 58mb. Once the setup is installed , extract the zip files. You will be able to see two files here :
AdventureWorks2008_Data.mdf
AdventureWorks2008_Log.ldf
Now, open your Sql Server 2008 and right click on the database.
AdventureWorks2008_Data.mdf
AdventureWorks2008_Log.ldf
Now, open your Sql Server 2008 and right click on the database.
Now, you have to add the .mdf file by clicking on the add button.
Browse for the .mdf file and click on the ok button.
So, once everything is done , just refresh your database and you will be see to this database ...
